Services

Our
experienced therapists provide several different types of
massage therapy, also known as massage modalities. We take
an individualized approach to tailor your massage therapy
session to your needs! Your therapist will help you decide
on the best combination of techniques, based on your goals
and preferences for your massage. Our price
is the same, regardless of the type of massage you prefer
(not including material cost for Kinesio tape, and medical
billing). |

Massage Therapy Rates
|
Appointments for professional massage therapy are
available at the rates shown below. Please arrive a few
minutes early on your first appointment to allow time for
completing the intake paperwork. Late arrival time cannot be
made up with treatment time in consideration of other client
appointments. Treatment time may include up to 10 minutes of
preparation and consultation. |

The above rates apply to same day service payments
(credit card, check, and cash) for massage at our office
location. Additional medical services or supplies such as
Kinesio® tape and medical massage/billing/reporting are not
included. Medical massage through OSU insurance/worker's
compensation is billed in 15 minute units, and co-pays vary
by plan. Rates are subject to change. |

CLIENT DISCOUNT
Become a
frequent client and get $5.00 off every massage! To qualify,
get at least two hours of massage (in any combination)
during a given month and you will receive $ 5.00 off the
regular price of any massages the following month. With the
$ 5.00 discount, a one hour massage is only $55.00 (plus
applicable tax). If you always get at least two hours of
massage per month, you will continue to get the discounted
rate! *

medical massage / billing / reporting, or Kinesio Taping®.

Kinesio Taping® is available during any massage
session at an additional charge of $2.00 per foot of Kinesio
tape.
Medical massage therapy
is billed in 15 minute increments at the Bureau of Workers
Compensation/insurance allowed rate. Scott Norris is a provider under the OSU Managed Health Care
plan as well as the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC).
We can bill medical massage services to OSU insurance and
BWC for you. |
Sales Tax Exemption
|
Since 2003, Ohio law requires massage therapists to charge
sales tax for massage services. However, it is possible to
obtain an exemption from sales tax if massage therapy is
recommended by a physician or chiropractor for health
reasons. To obtain tax exempt status, please bring a massage
order (or prescription) from your physician or chiropractor,
stating that massage therapy is indicated in your case for
medical/health reasons. We will need to keep this statement
in our files, and we may request yearly updates, as needed. |
