Scott has been working as a licensed massage therapist full-time for twenty years.

He is one of only a few select therapists in Ohio to be accepted into the OSU Health Plan by personal recommendation from several medical doctors. He was the chosen provider by artists of Cirque du Soleil during their stay in Columbus. He has also been a provider for performers at BalletMet Columbus. In addition, Scott is the first licensed massage therapist in Ohio trained as a Certified Kinesio Taping® Practitioner.

Scott has been running a private practice since 1994 and practicing clinical massage since 1995. He is highly skilled in assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions and soft tissue injuries. He is also very caring and continues to truly enjoy helping people through the practice of massage therapy. His consistent focus on quality and attention to detail combine to produce the superior results that keep satisfied clients coming back and referring others to him.

Scott’s professional background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kent State University and experience as a licensed social worker in the field of long-term care. He became interested in massage therapy after witnessing the positive effects it had on a group of residents in a psychiatric nursing home environment.

Sara has over five years of experience working as a massage therapist in a therapeutic setting. She is highly skilled and very passionate about being a massage therapist. Her background includes working in a fitness center where she gained significant experience in dealing with a variety of client needs.

Sara enjoys helping people to maximize their health potential through massage. She consistently receives referrals from clients who are impressed by the superior quality massage she provides.

Michele King, LMT

Michele graduated with honors from Massage Away and has over a decade of experience working with the human body. Michele has worked with a variety of conditions including sports injuries, pregnancy related discomforts, breast cancer, post surgical scar tissue, and overuse injuries.

Experienced as a former power lifter and trainer, Michele understands the stress and injuries to the body associated with training and competing. Michele enjoys working with clients of all ages including children and seniors. Michele integrates a number of techniques into her treatment plan, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, myofascial release, manual lymph drainage and joint mobilizations.

Working with clients to establish a thorough history and providing recommendations for client self care, Michele strives to alleviate symptoms to achieve client goals and prevent recurrence. She is also a Certified Baby’s First Massage Instructor, Reiki Master and Sun Style Tai Chi instructor.
